The all mighty Google and content sharing website Digg are again reported doing the acquisition tango with the latest negotiations actually getting to a point where an agreement has almost been reached. If the interweb sees no eVIL then Google could be paying some $200 million for Digg and, following the acquisition, place the site under the Google News brand.
Nothing in currently written in stone though so, if the deal doesn’t goes through, don’t shoot the messenger. Not even the Yahoo! one.
